Admission Policy

Student Administration

Only outstanding students are eligible for student administration. Administrative function at the Higher Institute comprises the following:

  • – Student Administrators
  • – Department Delegates

Only students who meet the following criteria will be eligible for administrative function at the Higher Institute:

    • Must have scored a minimum average of 16/20 at exams time
    • Must be of good moral conduct
    • Must possess leadership abilities (parameters to be set forth)


Student administrators assist the school’s administration in the day-to-day running of the institution. Student administrators are paid positions that go with lots of privileges.

Students are granted a week of to apply to run for positions, and a week to mobilise support for the elections are free and fair and by democratic process. Higher Institute administration will act as a regulatory body to the functioning of the student administration. Elected officials whose academic performance deteriorates over time would be replaced.

Library Use

The library is available to students for reading purposes only. Students will not be allowed to carry books out of the library, but shall submit them on time to rigorously explore the collections therein. The library shall be open from Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (two-shift work system), and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dress Code

Students of HIBAMS are an elite class of refined citizens. Students are permitted to dress formally in any conventional attire. Attires must be neat and non-sexists. However, the prescribed wear is a classical Ash-Grey suit and trouser for men, and a long or medium length skirt for women.


Shoes must be formal and compatible with the dress, purpose and season. Hair-do and hair-cut must be soft and appealing; girls are encouraged to maintain neat hair styles.
